F1® has been at the forefront of automotive innovation for over 70 years. It also delivers pulse-pounding excitement with every race, featuring the world’s most skilled drivers on courses all over the world. Now, Hot Wheels and Formula 1® have teamed up to create this first-ever partnership car, an original design based on the innovative, real-life open-wheeled racers.
“Through design, engineering, and creativity, Formula 1 and Hot Wheels both work to push the boundaries of performance,” says vehicle designer Craig Callum, who grew up watching F1® racing.
“Our first collector set brings Hot Wheels flavor to an awesome new F1 casting,” says graphic designer Kristina Albrecht. Note the “68” on the nose, a nod to the year Hot Wheels debuted.
Packaged on an illustrated blister card inspired by the Hot Wheels “Original 16” design and packed in a Kar Keepers clamshell case.
