Saturn delivers adjustable vibration dampening through ingenious design. Its hardware-free mechanism and twist-lock floor integration let you position 5"- 8" speakers at any angle—without a hint of rattle or resonance.
● I started by creating a hardware-free ball and socket mechanism, engineered to position 5" to 8" inch studio monitors at any angle.
● The real breakthrough emerged through groove lines on the ball and socket that click into place, ensuring both stands lock at the same angles.
● To complete the system, I partnered with Gravity™, designing a specialized top plate that seamlessly integrates with their premium floor stands through an elegant twist-lock connection.
What started as my simple quest to design adjustable speaker stands became something more. Saturn emerged as a complete solution that finally puts the speaker positioning problem to rest.
I began with a rough foam prototype, then refined Saturn through PLA & TPU 3D prints, now reaching version 0.3—more structured, more precise, and near perfect.
